The adult All-Stop fare to Seoul Station is ₩4,750 from Terminal 1 (T1) or ₩5,350 from Terminal 2 (T2) with a transit card. The Express direct-sale adult fare was ₩13,000 when checked. Adult fares for the full bus routes below are ₩17,000 or ₩18,000, depending on operator. A standard taxi uses the meter, then adds the actual toll and any night surcharge.

Find ground transport at T1 or T2
All services below are landside.
- Terminal 1: follow Airport Railroad signs through the Transportation Center to the T1 station on B1. Airport buses and taxis use signed 1F curb areas.
- Terminal 2: follow Airport Railroad signs to the Transportation Center on B1. Rail and airport-bus facilities are on B1; taxi ranks are outside 1F arrivals.
- Concourse arrival: follow the controlled arrival train and signs to T1. The Concourse has no public AREX station, airport-bus curb or taxi rank.

AREX All-Stop Train
The All-Stop route serves Digital Media City, Hongik University, Gongdeok and Seoul Station. Use this train for Hongdae or Gongdeok; the Express skips both.

These are adult transit-card fares from the current AREX fare table. An adult single-use card costs ₩100 more and requires a refundable ₩500 deposit. AREX lists loaded transit cards and single-use tickets as payment methods. It does not guarantee gate entry with a foreign contactless bank card.
T-money works on the All-Stop Train. It does not pay the Express fare. Physical prepaid T-money normally needs Korean-won cash for purchase or reload; the T-money at ICN guide explains airport locations, single-use tickets and the current Apple Wallet limitation.

The later train ends at Digital Media City at 00:44. Read the destination on the platform display and train before boarding. The full official timetable workbook separates through trains from short turns.
AREX's planner headline gives about 59 minutes from T1 and 66 minutes from T2 to Seoul Station. Individual runs vary by several minutes. The first through train takes about 55 minutes from T1 or 61½ minutes from T2 to Hongik University, and about 58½ or 65 minutes to Gongdeok.
Child and luggage rules
All-Stop child fare applies from age 6 to under 13; youth fare applies from 13 to under 19 or to a qualifying student. Correct age registration is needed for a child or youth prepaid-card discount. Up to three children under six may ride free with one fare-paying guardian under the AREX passenger terms.
The railway limit is two ordinary pieces per passenger. Each must be under 32 kg and under 158 cm for the three outside dimensions combined. Staff approval is needed for an airport bag outside the normal limit, and luggage must not block doors or accessible areas.
AREX Express
The Express runs non-stop from T2 and T1 to Seoul Station. It uses an assigned-seat QR ticket and a dedicated gate.

The published timetable has 26 trains per direction, with airport gaps of roughly 25 to 65 minutes. Compare the next Express with the next All-Stop train instead of relying only on onboard time.
The live AREX sales interface quoted ₩13,000 for a nonmember adult, ₩12,500 for a member adult, and ₩9,500 for a child on September 10, 2026. Confirm the total for your departure before paying.
The Express ticket guide lists website, app, machine, and counter sales. Online sales close 20 minutes before departure. After that, ask at the counter; a sale depends on seat availability and the operator's cutoff time. Passengers who need a wheelchair seat must buy it at an on-site counter. Read the ticket's change and refund terms before paying because same-day changes and cancellations may incur a fee.
Express child fare applies from age 6 through 12. One child under six may ride free with each paying guardian without a separate seat. The two-piece railway luggage rule also applies, so an assigned seat does not guarantee acceptance of an oversize item.
Choose rail by destination
Seoul Station and Namdaemun
For Seoul Station, compare the next departure. Express provides an assigned seat and a scheduled 43- or 51-minute ride. All-Stop costs less and tends to run more often. A long Express wait can erase the onboard time savings.
Seoul Station is large and the AREX platforms are deep. Check the station exit closest to your hotel, elevator route, and street crossing. A short licensed taxi may be easier than a long indoor transfer with luggage.
Hongdae
Take the All-Stop Train to Hongik University. Express overshoots to Seoul Station and forces a backtrack. The adult transit-card fare is ₩4,650 from T1 or ₩5,250 from T2.

Gongdeok and Mapo
The All-Stop Train serves Gongdeok at the same fare as Hongik University. Routes 6015, 6701, or 6702 may stop closer to some hotels. Compare each route's final walk and elevator access to the hotel.
Myeongdong and Chungmuro
No AREX train ends in Myeongdong. Compare 6001 or 6015 with AREX to Seoul Station followed by Line 4 or a short taxi. The best bus stop varies between south Myeongdong, Euljiro, Namdaemun and Chungmuro. Use the ICN to Myeongdong guide for direction-specific stops and return curbs.
City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Jongno and Dongdaemun
Route 6701 serves City Hall and Gwanghwamun hotels; 6002 covers Gwanghwamun, Jongno and Heunginjimun; 6001 and 6702 cover different Dongdaemun-side stops. Identify the exact hotel stop because “Dongdaemun” can mean Heunginjimun, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), Dongdaemun History & Culture Park or a hotel several blocks away.
Gangnam, COEX and Jamsil
For Gangnam and COEX, compare route 6703 with the All-Stop Train to Gimpo Airport followed by Line 9. For Jamsil and Dongseoul, check route 6705A. Use the Seoul Metro route finder to calculate the transfer to the exact station because “Gangnam” covers too much area for one fare or travel time.

Use the airport's official bus search and open the direction-specific operator page. Match the stop to the hotel's arrival instructions before buying.

K Airport Limousine lists T1 bays 3B/4A and T2 bays 18/19 as shared boarding areas. The operator does not publish a stable bay for each daytime route. Use the route printed on the paper ticket and the live departure board.
Route 6702's Seoul Station city-bound drop-off is temporarily about 70 m toward Yeomcheongyo Bridge from August 12, 2026 through January 16, 2030 because of GTX ventilation work. The return pickup remains unchanged. Check the operator notice.
Tickets and payment
For 6001, 6002 and 6015, buy the airport-to-city ticket at a terminal counter or machine before boarding. An official notice has required a pre-issued T2 ticket for these routes since March 5, 2026. The Airport Limousine ticket guide lists sales around T1 arrivals gates 4, 6, 9 and 11 and on B1 in the T2 Transportation Center. Its ordinary routes have no online reservation system.
At the airport, K Airport Limousine instructs passengers to obtain a paper reservation ticket before joining the line. If you bought a QR ticket, follow the current counter-exchange instruction on the operator homepage. Downtown boarding uses different payment rules.
The airport-to-city stop may differ from the return curb. Save the route number, direction, stop name, stop ID, and boarding curb separately for each trip.

Children, luggage and wheelchair access
Both coach operators charge child fares for ages 6–12. A child under 6 may ride free with a paying adult when the child does not use a separate seat; buy a child ticket if a separate seat is needed.
Airport Limousine's current luggage notice allows two pieces total per passenger, including carry-ons. Each piece must be no larger than 28 inches and no heavier than 20 kg. Its formal conditions use a 160 cm dimension rule and a different excess-fee formula. Contact 02-2664-9898 before traveling with a third piece, oversize or unusual luggage, sports equipment, a mobility device, or any item over 20 kg.
For each passenger paying the adult fare, K Airport Limousine allows two checked pieces with a combined weight up to 40 kg, plus one cabin piece up to 110 cm in combined dimensions and 20 kg. Its FAQ says the operator may refuse a piece over 20 kg or 50 × 40 × 20 cm. Confirm edge cases at 02-2667-0386.
Neither operator promises a wheelchair lift or occupied-wheelchair securement on its standard coaches. A folded device may be accepted as luggage only subject to space and operator approval. If the passenger cannot leave the chair, book a vehicle that confirms the required boarding method and securement.
Taxi from Incheon Airport to Seoul
Use the designated rank or the named pickup point for a booked service. Ignore unsolicited ride offers inside arrivals.

The Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) taxi guide lists a standard base fare of ₩4,800 for 1.6 km. Standard night surcharge is 20% from 22:00–23:00, 40% from 23:00–02:00 and 20% from 02:00–04:00. There is no ordinary boundary surcharge between ICN and Seoul. Deluxe and jumbo taxis start at ₩7,000 for 3 km and add 20% from 22:00–04:00.
Taxi totals vary by district, traffic, and road used. Check a live estimate for the hotel's full Korean address. The passenger also pays the actual toll; the Airport Expressway and Incheon Bridge list different tolls for cars.
Official International Taxi zones
The Seoul International Taxi flat-fare table applies only to the separately designated International Taxi service. An ordinary taxi from the standard rank uses the meter.

Add the actual road toll to the flat fare. Use the district in the hotel's Korean address to choose the zone; its marketed neighborhood may refer to another district. IIAC lists 1644-2255 for International Taxi.
Tell the dispatcher how many passengers, full-size suitcases, strollers, and mobility devices you have. Ask separately about wheelchair access because a jumbo taxi's size does not confirm it.

Arriving after midnight
Four official night routes cover different Seoul corridors. Allow time for immigration, baggage claim, customs, the terminal walk, and ticket purchase. You can miss a bus even when the flight lands before its scheduled departure.

IIAC lists a lower fare of ₩10,000 adult / ₩6,000 child for passengers taking N6000 or N6002 only as far as Songjeong Station. The table shows the full-route fare.

Official N6701 sources disagree on its T2 bay: current text lists bay 18, while the airport graphic shows bay 20. Use the bay on the paper ticket and live departure board. Euljiro 1-ga is near the north side of Myeongdong; it is not Myeongdong Station.
Buy a night-bus ticket at the terminal booth or machine. K Airport routes currently require a paper reservation ticket at airport boarding; follow the counter instruction if you hold a QR booking.

Luggage, families and accessible travel
Check the full rail route, including every transfer and street exit. One out-of-service elevator or stair-only hotel entrance can make rail unusable. Review elevator and accessible-gate information on the AREX pages for T1, T2, and Seoul Station, then use the Seoul Metro route finder for any city transfer.
Families should compare the total fare, number of transfers, child-ticket rules, and final walk. Express and All-Stop use different rules for children under 6. A standard taxi may not fit four adults and four large suitcases even when it has enough seats.
If a passenger must remain in a wheelchair, arrange the vehicle before travel. A large coach or jumbo taxi does not confirm a wheelchair lift, ramp, or securement. IIAC lists accessible-taxi contacts for Incheon (1577-0320) and Seoul (1588-4388), but confirm airport coverage, eligibility, wait time, and securement.
Keep medication, documents, chargers and the hotel address in carry-on. If bags exceed an operator's published allowance, contact the operator before committing to the route. The ICN luggage guide covers storage and delivery options when a landside itinerary makes them relevant.
Returning from Seoul to Incheon Airport
Confirm the airline's terminal and work backward from its check-in, bag-drop, security and boarding deadlines. Reaching T1 does not help when the flight leaves T2.

The first Express leaves Seoul Station at 06:00, reaching T1 at 06:43 and T2 at 06:51. The last leaves at 23:00, reaching T1 at 23:43 and T2 at 23:51.
Bus return
City-to-airport pickups use different curbs and schedules. Open the exact route's To Incheon Airport direction and verify the boarding curb, stop ID, first and last trips, and expected time to your flight terminal. Airport Limousine's current FAQ says city-to-airport passengers may use T-money or Korean-won cash. Check K Airport Limousine's payment rule separately.
The table gives departures from each route's city terminus, not pickup times at Hongdae, Euljiro, COEX, or another intermediate stop. Check the current stop-level time for your stop.

Travel-day checks
Save the relevant operator pages and hotel address for offline access. On the travel day, confirm:
- operating flight's terminal and the time you clear customs;
- next train, its destination and any disruption;
- Express seat inventory and direct-sale price;
- exact bus stop, boarding curb, ticket type, and diversion notice;
- N6701 T2 bay from the ticket and live board;
- elevators along the full station-to-street route;
- approval for oversize luggage, mobility equipment or an accessible vehicle;
- live taxi quote, district zone, night surcharge, toll route and luggage fit;
- traffic for any time-critical arrival; and
- hotel entrance and late check-in instructions.

Plan B
- Long Express wait or no suitable seat: take the next through All-Stop train if it reaches the useful station sooner.
- Late All-Stop train ends at DMC: leave at its displayed terminus and recalculate; it will not continue to Hongdae, Gongdeok or Seoul Station.
- Bus stop is poor for the hotel: switch to rail or the designated taxi rank.
