Luggage Storage at Incheon Airport:Counters, Prices and Hours

Current counters

The five T1 rows below are records from two official systems, not five confirmed physical branches. ZIMCARRY publishes three branches; IIAC publishes two listings without a branch-name crosswalk.

In these location descriptions, entrance door 1, 2 or 13 is a terminal curbside door, not an airside boarding gate.

The current IIAC facility directory ↗ also lists a T2 Hanjin counter on 1F near entrance door 1. Hanjin's own storage page names only the 3F counter for ordinary luggage storage, so use 3F unless staff direct you elsewhere.

Terminal 1: choose the branch by route and collection time

The ZIMCARRY live store list ↗ shows three T1 branches. IIAC's current directory shows two 3F branches and uses different landmarks. Open the live operator map before setting out; call if a late collection depends on the disputed hour.

West 3F: the late-night choice

The west branch page ↗ places the counter inside entrance door 13 and publishes 00:00–23:50. IIAC separately lists a ZIMCARRY point near check-in N as 24H, but does not identify it as the west branch. Follow the operator's hours for door 13 and avoid planning a midnight handoff.

East 3F: the daytime choice

The east branch page ↗ places the counter inside entrance door 2 and publishes 07:00–22:00. IIAC separately lists 07:00–21:00 near check-in B without mapping it to the east branch. Confirm directly before relying on the final hour.

Airport Railroad B1: convenient only if the fare gates fit your trip

The Airport Railroad branch ↗ is to the right inside the AREX all-stop train fare gates on B1. It publishes 07:00–22:00 and uses hourly pricing after the first four hours. This can be convenient for an AREX passenger, but it is not the simplest general terminal counter if you are not taking the all-stop train.

Terminal 1 prices

ZIMCARRY's east and west 3F pages use the longest side of the item and charge the following base price for each 24 hours.

The same pages list bags at ₩3,000, ₩5,000 or ₩8,000 by size; a golf Boston bag at ₩5,000; a golf caddy bag at ₩10,000; one coat at ₩3,000; and four coats at ₩10,000 per 24 hours. General items have separate bands from ₩2,000 to ₩20,000. Let staff classify an unusual piece before paying because the published general-item size bands overlap.

The B1 Airport Railroad branch uses a different model:

For a full day, a 3F branch is cheaper than B1 for the same suitcase. B1 earns its keep on a short rail-linked stop.

Terminal 2: use the Hanjin 3F counter

Hanjin and IIAC agree on the key details: the listed storage counter is on T2 3F, west side, near entrance door 1, phone 032-743-5835, and it is listed 24 hours. Hanjin publishes these prices on its official airport storage page ↗.

The source puts 30 kg in both XL and XXL, and it does not explain which band controls when weight and dimensions point to different rows. Nor does it state how a partial second day is charged or whether the over-180 cm band has a weight ceiling. Ask the counter to classify the bag and write the final collection time on the receipt.

Reservations, payment and multi-day storage

ZIMCARRY's staffed-storage instructions ↗ say walk-in bags are accepted in arrival order and online reservation is not yet available. Staff classify the item, payment is made in advance and the customer receives a claim ticket. Once storage starts, the payment is nonrefundable even if the bag is collected early. The page warns that space can sell out early on weekends, holidays and during January–February and July–August.

ZIMCARRY advertises storage through the seventh day. If you return after closing, its instructions say the bag can be collected in the next operating period and extra storage charges apply. If the ticket is lost, staff may verify the name and phone number, but bringing identification and the receipt photo will make the process easier.

Hanjin publishes a storage link, but the visible form is not a clear left-luggage reservation flow. Its storage page also does not publish walk-in capacity, payment methods or multi-day calculation. Use the 3F counter and confirm those points before leaving a bag for more than 24 hours.

Storage, delivery and Easy Drop are different services

Easy Drop is not temporary storage. It has airline, route, cutoff and special-baggage restrictions. A storage claim ticket also does not check a suitcase onto a flight.

Luggage delivery from T1

ZIMCARRY publishes T1 delivery to and from supported accommodations. The starting suitcase prices are ₩25,000 for S, ₩30,000 for M and ₩35,000 for L, with possible regional surcharges.

Select the exact direction and branch on the operator site. Search for the accommodation in ZIMCARRY's supported-hotel list, then ask the hotel whether staff will accept a bag in the reservation name. Keep the passport, medication and first-night essentials with you.

The west page's delivery block says airport collection continues to 24:00, while the same page says the branch closes at 23:50. We use 23:50 as the safe cutoff.

Luggage delivery from T2

Hanjin's current carrier-service page ↗ connects T2 with staffed T-Luggage points at Seoul Station, Hongik University, Myeongdong, Jongno 3-ga, Gimpo Airport and Jamsil.

• Station to T2: walk-in registration and bag handoff run 09:00–12:00 at a listed station. Online registration is due by the previous day; follow the booking's physical handoff instructions. Collect at T2 Hanjin from 16:30–21:00.
• T2 to station: walk-in registration and bag handoff run 09:00–14:00 at T2. Online registration is due by the previous day; follow the booking's physical handoff instructions. Collect at the selected station from 18:00–22:00.
• Published price per bag, VAT included: S–M ₩20,000 weekday or ₩29,000 weekend; L ₩26,000 or ₩38,000; XL ₩31,000 or ₩45,000.

Hanjin's table labels the higher column for Saturday and Sunday but separately says public holidays are excluded. It does not state the public-holiday rate, so ask before booking on a holiday.

Delivery sizes use the suitcase's front diagonal: S under 20 inches, M 20–23 inches, L 23–27 inches and XL over 27 inches.

Hanjin explicitly says this station-delivery service is unavailable at T1. An older IIAC rail page still mentions T1 Hanjin, which conflicts with the current T1 operator and Hanjin's own page. ZIMCARRY's T1 product serves supported accommodations and addresses; it is not the same staffed subway-station network.

Layovers: every listed counter is landside

IIAC's current directory places the listed counters in public areas. It returns no Courier / Post result for the Concourse and no general airside storage counter for T1 or T2.

If you remain in the international transfer flow, ask the transfer desk about your checked and cabin baggage. Reaching one of the counters normally requires entry into Korea. Check your passport and itinerary in the Korea Visa Navigator before planning a landside stop.

Collect the bag before departure security and immigration. The IIAC departure guide ↗ says passengers cannot return to the public area after entering the departure duty-free zone.

Using storage in another terminal adds a separate landside trip and may require a return transfer. Count each actual leg from arrival, storage, outing and departure. The airport shuttle route page ↗ lists the free T1/T2 buses only from roughly 04:30 to 23:20–23:35, not all night. Store in the departure terminal whenever possible.

Restricted items, special bags and liability

ZIMCARRY's storage terms ↗, effective April 30, 2026, allow it to refuse valuables, cash and securities, electronics, dangerous or illegal goods, food, animals, plants, strong-smelling items, leaking liquids, fragile glass or ceramics and items unsuitable for ordinary storage. A bag should be securely packed and locked; staff may ask to inspect it with your consent.

The same terms set a maximum storage-liability limit of ₩500,000 per item, subject to proof and narrower damage limits. They exclude internal contents from loss, damage and contamination liability. Inspect the bag at pickup and submit a written claim within seven business days if necessary. Late bags accrue charges; after 30 days without a special agreement, the operator may sell or discard an uncollected item.

Hanjin's storage page explicitly rejects refrigerated and frozen goods. It does not publish a complete storage-specific restricted-item or liability list on that page, so ask the T2 counter about unusual contents rather than applying ZIMCARRY's rules to Hanjin.

T1 ZIMCARRY publishes rates for golf bags and general oversized items. It publishes bicycle packing, not bicycle storage. Hanjin prices items over 180 cm but does not separately promise acceptance of golf clubs, skis, surfboards, bicycles, strollers, wheelchairs, musical instruments or fragile cases. Those pieces need direct approval.

Coat storage

T1 ZIMCARRY publishes paid coat storage at ₩3,000 for one coat or ₩10,000 for four coats per 24 hours. The listed category includes padded jackets, coats, jackets and windbreakers.

Airline coatrooms operate seasonally. Before relying on one, check the operating dates and passenger eligibility on Korean Air's coatroom page ↗ or your own airline's website.

A safe drop-off and pickup sequence

1. Confirm the departure terminal from the operating flight, not an old itinerary screenshot.
2. Open the operator's current branch page and save its location and hours.
3. Show staff the exact bag and contents that may affect acceptance.
4. Ask for the final price, charging period, collection deadline and late-return rule.
5. Keep the passport, boarding pass, medicine, money, valuables and electronics with you.
6. Photograph all sides of the bag, the claim ticket, counter and nearest sign.
7. Save the counter phone in plain text and set two return alarms.
8. Inspect the bag before leaving the counter at pickup.

Do not build a city itinerary around the last possible collection minute. Live immigration, traffic, rail, security and walking time can erase the margin.

Plan B: when the counter is full or closed

Ask an official airport information desk to check the live facility directory. In T1, try another ZIMCARRY point only after confirming its hours and access; the B1 branch sits inside AREX fare gates. In T2, use the listed 3F Hanjin counter rather than assuming the 1F courier counter offers ordinary storage.

If no counter accepts the bag, keep it and shorten the outing. Do not cross terminals only to chase a cheaper rate unless the round trip and collection window are secure. If a delay may push pickup past closing, call before traveling back and keep the receipt number ready.

Check before you travel

• available space, especially on weekends, holidays and in peak season;
• the signed T1 landmark and actual closing time, where IIAC and ZIMCARRY conflict;
• payment method, any identification requirement and staff classification of the item;
• acceptance and price for sports gear, a stroller, wheelchair, instrument, box or other unusual piece;
• a partial second-day charge and any exception to the published rules;
• the exact procedure for third-party or late collection;
• whether a specific hotel is supported and will accept delivery;
• current delivery cutoff, traffic disruption and arrival window;
• live immigration, security, shuttle and walking time;
• any temporary or unadvertised airside service.

Frequently asked questions

Where is luggage storage in Terminal 1?

ZIMCARRY publishes west and east counters on the public 3F departures level and a B1 counter inside the AREX all-stop fare gates. IIAC and ZIMCARRY use different landmarks and slightly different hours, so use the live operator page for a late pickup.

Where is luggage storage in Terminal 2?

Use Hanjin on T2 3F, west side, near public entrance door 1. Both IIAC and Hanjin list it 24 hours. The phone is 032-743-5835.

Are there self-service lockers inside Incheon Airport?

The current IIAC directory does not list general passenger luggage lockers in T1, T2 or the Concourse. Seoul subway T-Locker is a separate city network. For the airport, start with the staffed counters above.

Can I leave luggage overnight or for several days?

Yes at an appropriate staffed counter, subject to space and operator rules. ZIMCARRY advertises storage through the seventh day. Hanjin publishes an up-to-24-hour table but does not clearly explain longer stays online, so ask the T2 counter for the complete price before paying.

Can another person collect my bag?

ZIMCARRY's terms allow a requested third-party handoff but disclaim loss or damage arising from it. Arrange it with the counter in advance and ask exactly which identification and receipt are required. Hanjin does not publish an equivalent storage rule on its current page.

Can I store a coat or golf bag?

T1 ZIMCARRY publishes paid storage prices for coats and golf bags. T2 Hanjin does not separately promise those categories; ask the 3F counter. Airline coatrooms are seasonal; check your airline's announced dates and eligibility.

Can I use storage during a layover without entering Korea?

Do not plan on it. The listed counters are landside and IIAC lists no general Concourse or airside storage counter. Ask the transfer desk about the bags if you remain airside.

What if I return after the counter closes?

ZIMCARRY says collection moves to the next operating period and additional storage charges apply. Hanjin's T2 counter is listed 24 hours, but confirm any temporary closure and the receipt terms when you drop off the bag.
